디스코 음악의 절대 강자로 사랑을 받았던 I'm in the mood for dancing 주인공인

 'Nolans'는 가족 그룹으로 시작한 친자매들로 구성된 정상의 댄스 팝 밴드로 디스코 시대를 장식했던 밴드이다.

아일랜드 출신의 부부 가수 '토미 놀란(Tommy Nolan)'과 '모린 놀란(Maureen Nolan) 이들 부모는

 Sweetheart Singers라는 이름으로 더블린에서 활동하던 듀엣이었다.

 1962년 영국으로 이주한 이들 부부는 클럽 등지를 돌며 노래를 불렀고 가끔 자녀들과 함께 무대에 서기도 했다.

이것이 인기를 얻자 아버지는 가족을 끌어들여 아예 그룹 이름을 싱잉 놀란스라고 짓고 60년대 후반부터 70년대 초반까지 활동했다.
